U.S. and Iran Negotiations Stall – President Trump claimed that Iran had agreed to most of the 15 points the U.S. proposed to broker a peace deal and added that they agreed to allow 20 oil tankers to pass through the Strait of Hormuz as a “sign of respect.” However, Iran still launched waves of missiles at Israel over the last few days and recent reports indicate the U.S. is preparing for a potential ground invasion with thousands of American troops arriving in the area on Friday.

TSA Funding – In absence of a funding deal from Congress for the Department of Homeland Security, President Trump issued an executive order on Friday to pay TSA workers. Some could see payments as early as Monday, but it remains to be seen how long it will take until TSA wait times get back to normal. Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is still recommending passengers arrive four hours before their flights. Some airports such as San Francisco International Airport employ private security officers in addition to TSA workers to expedite the screening process, which has helped keep lines to a minimum, but not all airports utilize private security officers.

NASA will be testing its new Orion spacecraft and Space Launch System rocket that will be key to future moon missions.
