Brian Zavalkoff, CFA
President
Brian joined Chesley, Taft & Associates as a Principal in 2009 and brings more than 25 years of investment management experience. Brian sits on the Board of Managers at Chesley, Taft & Associates. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager at the U.S. Trust Company (a division of Bank of America) and its predecessor firms, LaSalle Wealth Management and the Chicago Trust Company. While at the U.S. Trust Company, Brian was responsible for managing diversified investment portfolios for private clients, trusts, foundations, and businesses. He also led LaSalle’s Midcap Growth Fund and Separately Managed Account program.
Previously, Brian served as Vice President and Portfolio Manager with Citibank Global Asset Management/Citigroup Asset Management in New York, where he was also a member of the company’s Asset Management Committee. At Citibank, he co-managed a $1.25 billion U.S. All-Cap Equity Fund and authored the company’s quarterly Global Investment Perspective, a strategy report discussing prospects for each of the major global economies and financial markets.
